A drawing note from me: when the semicolon merges with another shape, keep the semicolon readable. I’ve seen designs where the symbol disappears so completely into the butterfly or flower that the meaning gets lost. The two dots-and-curve should be the first thing your eye finds — everything else is the frame, not the picture.
